PROTOTYPE CHASSIS FOR MARS ROVER
Commercial R&D Contract:
Under a commercial R&D contract with a major automotive OEM, the objective was to develop and fabricate a prototype chassis for a Mars/Lunar Rover program. The project successfully delivered three complete chassis on time and within budget. Key achievements included moving from proposal to delivered parts in just three months, demonstrating rapid manufacturability, and producing the first complex-shaped part, highlighting the versatility of the IP manufacturing process in creating intricate structures. Next steps involve developing a human-rated version for critical missions.
