Direct-to-Phase II SBIR Contract:

Project Title: Novel Manufacturing and Materials of High-Temperature Composite Radomes for Hypersonics Aircraft

Project Title: Scaled Production and Increased Performance of Hypersonic Thermal Protection Systems - faster than a speeding bullet!

With $1.25 million in funding from AFWERX and the Air Force Research Lab, this contract advances the development of thermal protection systems for hypersonic applications. Building on the success of the STTR Phase 1 contract, the project addresses the critical thermal and structural requirements of hypersonic vehicles.

Project Title: Novel Mold Technology for High-Performance Composite TPS Manufacturing

Awarded $100,000 by the Defense Logistics Agency, this contract was aimed at expanding the industrial manufacturing base for hypersonics. The project focused on developing scalable production techniques to address supply chain challenges and support the growing demand for advanced hypersonic materials and components.

Collaboration project with Hermeus:

In partnership with Hermeus, this initiative focused on developing components for hypersonic propulsion systems. These components were designed to withstand extreme conditions while optimizing performance, showcasing the potential for integrating advanced materials into cutting-edge hypersonic technologies.
