Under a $750,000 STTR Phase 2 contract with AFWERX and the Air Force Research Lab – Space Vehicles Directorate, the objective was to develop boom structures similar to the ISS’s Roll-Out Solar Array (ROSA). Successfully demonstrated optimized stiffness and strength properties.
